Baby Bump
This was my very first maternity shoot! Jami is the sweetest, cutest pregnant young woman I have ever seen and I'm very thankful to her for allowing me to capture this special time in her life. I am greatly anticipating the arrival of this little one and I pray a safe delivery for both mom and baby. I look forward to getting to know this baby and walking along side Jami as she raises him/her.

Peter and Nellie
Again, another cold day for pictures. Peter and Nellie are good friends of ours and are such a huge blessing to us! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to take your family pictures this year:) I will put up pictures of your cards when they are done.

Tis The Season...
Tamara had this wonderful idea for her and Jason's Christmas card, so I helped her bring it to life. It was very cold and windy outside, so we only had a couple of minutes to get these shots. Cohen did so good and he wasn't even crying. Aunty is so proud of you:) I will post the cards when they are done!

Ayden Sawatzky
This little guy belongs to good friends of ours. He was born this past September and is getting cuter by the day! I hope to be around to capture more moments he grows up. I'm very blessed by the friendship we have in this family and am looking forward to raising our families together.

The Beginning of Winter
It's finally here! It truly never feels like Christmas until that first snow fall! I love the snow, but not the cold, icy weather that comes with it. Here are a few shots of my little girl playing in the snow for the first time... hopefully some more to come:)

UnCut
As much as I enjoy the time I spend editing my pictures, the last few days I have been trying to capture that perfect raw image that doesn't require any editing at all. I know these shots are far from perfect...but these are my first few images without any editing...straight from the camera or UnCut!

Cup Cozy!
On thursday, Holly and Tamara came to spend the day with me. We relaxed, watched some girly movies and were being lazy. Tamara was working on her crochet project, which inspired Holly to return home to get her crochet project. Seeing as I was the only one there who had no idea how to crochet, I thought I might as well join them. Holly will be teaching a crochet class in Winnipeg on December 5th, so I thought she should practice on me :) That being said, this is my first ever attempt at crochet and making a cup cozy! It was great hanging out with you two...we should do it again soon! I can't wait to learn more stitches!

Cohen Samuel Janzen
Cohen is my first and only nephew. He was born this summer, only four months after my little girl. We are so happy they have each other for playmates! I had the opportunity to watch him for one sunny afternoon so I decided to torture him a little bit! He was a really good sport...it was really windy that day (I'm surprised he had his eyes open). The first picture here is one of the cards I made with his 2 month shots. I look forward to many more shoots with him and Kya together! They will be the perfect (and CUTEST) little models :)
Rhea Funk
This is sweet little Rhea. We were watching a movie last night and her mommy sat her on the couch and she stayed there just looking around watching everyone. Not even a couple months old and she's already sitting up nice and tall! She is just an angel...smiling all the time. I don't think I have ever met a baby this young who smiles this much!

8 Month Beauty
It's been a while since my last post...3 months to be exact! My angel has gone from little to big. 8 months old and as busy as ever. I have been using my baby as my subject to enhance my photography capabilities, it seems she's the only one who puts up with the camera constantly in her face. Here are a few of my favourites from the last few months! I promise to keep more up to date with my posts...I have no excuse now that i'm not going back to work :)
