My Baby Girl Is 3...WHAT??!?!?

I can't believe my baby is 3! It feels like it was just yesterday that I was waiting for her to join Dustin and I. Life is for sure busy with her but I couldn't imagine it without her. She is one of the biggest blessings and challenges God has given me. Being a mom is hard, exhausting but one of the most fabulous treasures I could ever ask for. Today is her party and I am running around like a mad woman trying to get everything together! I will post some party and pre-party pictures tomorrow :) Well, back to work! Paxton is 6 Months!!!

I can't believe this little guy is already 6 months old! I feel like he was just born yesterday :) I had both of my nephews over this week and was able to capture a great moment with Paxton. He was very happy on this particular day so I decided to pose him for this session. With help from my daughter, Kya, we were able to catch some great shots. I absolutely love being able to capture every milestone in, not only the lives of my kids, but my nephews (and maybe a niece in the future)as well. Happy 6 Months Baby Paxton!

Pembina Valley Humane Society

Today was an amazing day! We were able to spend the day with some amazing animals at Pembina Valley Humane Society in Morden. All of the dogs we were able to work today are just the greatest! I know, if any of you have every visited the Humane Society, you were probably turned off or a little apprehensive because of the size of the dogs and the intense noise that they all make. Due to the dogs being in kennels, instead of a home environment, they are slightly more excitable when people or other animals come into the room. That being said, I strongly urge you to go in with an open mind. Once you have these dogs one-on-one, they are simply the greatest dogs I have ever been in contact with. They have an absolute love for life and are extremely obedient. As most of the animals in the shelter are still puppies, they love to play!They do get a lot of play time and attention from the volunteers at the shelter, however it doesn't even compare to the care and attention they would get from a family. This is a good shelter, who takes incredible care of every animal that comes in, but it isn't meant to be a permanent home for them either. I know that my opinion of all the animals today has changed. Being able to play with them and get to know them, I would be willing to say that all of these dogs, no matter the size, would be great pets. Anyway,there's my little rant about the fabulousness of my day :) Here are some highlights of our session. My Family Christmas Portraits

I know these are a bit late, but here are some portraits of my family this Christmas! It's getting harder and harder to fit everyone in...and it will only get worse, as this year we will be adding another baby to bunch! And, no...it's not mine :) I have one of the best families in the world and it's a privilege to share them with you!

I apologize for my appearance...I was struggling all Christmas Day with a migraine that lead me to sitting in the ER. This was post ER visit! I'm hoping next year's portrait will include a better picture of myself :)

FUN, FUN, FUN! This couple was just amazing to shoot! They were very close to the due date of their first baby! Their excitement and anticipation was very evident as we did these pictures. I am thrilled with these photos and am glad I was able to spend some time with this family.
